This privacy policy applies to SecureConsent, located at secureconsent.com, owned and operated by SecureConsent, LLC. The privacy of our users on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. Since SecureConsent, LLC gathers certain types of information about our users through our site located at secureconsent.com (and related subdomains) and our service platform, we feel that you should completely understand the conditions and terms surrounding the gathering and use of information about those using our sites and services. This Privacy Policy divulges what information we gather, how we use it, and how you can access and update this information. The services made available through SecureConsent, LLC may be provided in a variety of media and devices now known or hereinafter developed including mobile applications, and include without limitation news, reference tools, and applications, sponsored programming, personalized content, medical education, communication tools and discussion boards (collectively, the "Services"). In the policy, the pronouns "you" and "your" are used to refer to the end user, while "we," "us" and "our" are used to refer to SecureConsent, LLC.

We may amend this Statement at any time; if we make changes to this Statement, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change becoming effective. 1. Collecting Information

Information Related to Data Collected for our Clients

Service provider collection and choice

SecureConsent, LLC. collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. We collect information for our clients, if you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the client that you interact with directly. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.

Access to data controlled by our Clients

SecureConsent, LLC. has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his or her query to the client that he or she interacts with directly (the data controller) or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below. If the Client requests SecureConsent, LLC. to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.

Data retention

SecureConsent, LLC. will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. SecureConsent, LLC. will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Information we collect from unauthenticated visitors

Users must be authenticated to use the full Services of the SecureConsent platform; however, users may be able to access certain limited areas of the Sites without disclosing any personally identifiable information. SecureConsent, LLC. will collect non-personally identifiable information, i.e. information that is not traced back to any individual and is not used on its own to identify an individual. Even if you have not authenticated, SecureConsent, LLC. will collect such data including the referring website, if applicable, the type of device and browser you use, the time and date that you accessed the Services, the pages you visited and viewed throughout our Sites, and what computers responded to a market research survey. Taken in aggregate, this information enables us to better develop and fund the Services, provide content, and respond to our users' needs. We will explain how this is done in the "Usage Tracking and Cookies" section of this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect from registered users of SecureConsent applications

You must be authenticated to access or use the full Services of our platform. Access codes are provided by the clinical sites identified by our clients and are not personally identifiable. When you receive an access code and use it for the Services, you may be asked to provide identifying information such as your name, email address unique mobile device ID and initials. Additional information may be requested, which may be required to access some Services in customized instances, such as age or patient status. We may collect additional information about registered users from third party sources such as clients to assist us in providing the Services. For example, we use such third party sources to cross-reference our records and transmit status alerts via secure, encrypted web services with other secured systems.

We do not ask you for, access, or track any location based information from your mobile device at any time while downloading or using our services.

"No-spam" policy

Your email address and electronic signature will not be sold or provided to any third party other than as outlined in this Privacy Policy if you use or sign an Electronic Consent form delivered through our systems. You may receive occasional offers from us to sign up for a new newsletter, discussion list or quiz program, or information about other SecureConsent, LLC. services, which require separate opt-in. If you opt in to any Service, you may opt out or unsubscribe at any time.

Usage tracking and cookies

Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by SecureConsent, LLC. and analytics service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather general demographic information about our user base as a whole, but not to capture personally identifying information. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

We use cookies for authentication. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited.

Log files

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data.

We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this only to maintain site functionality, not for marketing purposes.

HTML5

We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as HTML5 to store user session information. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon your Web browsing activity use LSOs such as HTML 5. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.

2. Information Sharing and Disclosures

We will share your personally identifiable information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. We do not sell your personally identifiable information to third parties.

Your email address

Your email address is your property and SecureConsent, LLC. will not divulge it to any third party, except to our clients for whom you are being consented and as otherwise outlined in this Privacy Policy. Third party service providers who send email on our behalf and help us prevent fraud and violation of our terms of service, such as failure to take surveys in good faith. We require our service providers to execute appropriate confidentiality and data security agreements and to use your email address only for this limited purpose. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt out of them by emailing our customer Support at support@secureconsent.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below.

Aggregate data

We aggregate data from unauthenticated users for use in analysis, development and service improvements. Aggregated information is pooled from many individual records and stripped of any data that could be used to identify an individual. Information collected in the registration process is never shared with third parties in a personally identifiable way, except, as identified in this Privacy Policy, when you elect to participate in industry-sponsored programs.

Legal disclosure

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

Business transition

In the event SecureConsent, LLC. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. 3. Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. When you enter sensitive information (such as login credentials) we encrypt the transmission of that information using reasonable security, such as Transport Layer Security technology (TSL).

4. Links to other web sites

Our Site includes links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ from those of SecureConsent, LLC.
